Coach Castle

Play chess with a friend, no accounts needed

Coach Castle lets two children play chess together on two devices without creating accounts. One player makes a room, shares the code, and the other joins.

How it works

  1. Choose “Play with a Friend”.
  2. Pick a game: Pawn Wars, Hungry Knight or the Guided Full Game.
  3. Each player picks an animal.
  4. One player makes a room and reads out the code; the other types it in.

Private by design

There are no accounts and games are not saved. During an online game, only the moves and each player’s chosen animal are sent between the two devices, and nothing about the game is stored.

Good for families and classrooms

Siblings on two tablets, a grandparent in another city, or two classmates in a chess club can play with the same simple room code.
