Parents unlock Hungry Knight and the Full Game by leaving a review, and every review unlocks them whatever the star rating. Low ratings are published the same as high ones. We only turn away reviews with links, contact details, adverts or rude words, and we blank out children's names and schools.

Chess for kids, one mini-game at a time

Coach Castle teaches chess to kids ages 5 to 10 and up the way chess teachers do: one piece at a time, through short games that use the real rules. Start with the pawns, learn the knight’s L-shaped jump, then play a full game with hints from the coach. It’s fun for grown-ups too, whether you’re learning alongside your child or finally learning chess yourself. There are no accounts and games are not saved.
