A guided first chess game, with training wheels
After Pawn Wars and Hungry Knight, children are ready for a full game of chess. The Guided Full Game uses every real rule, while the coach keeps the game friendly enough for a first try.
What the training wheels do
- Tap or drag a piece and the board shows every square it can move to.
- Squares where a piece can capture are marked.
- The king’s square lights up when it is in check.
- The coach explains what just happened and suggests what to try next.
A good order for learning the pieces
Pawns first, then the knight, then the rook and bishop, then the queen, and the king last. By the time children reach the full game, every piece already feels familiar.
Playing with a friend
Choose “Play with a Friend” to play the full game against someone on another device. One player makes a room and shares the code; the other types it in. See how friend games work.
How to unlock it
The Guided Full Game and Hungry Knight unlock when a grown-up leaves a review. Every review unlocks them, whatever the star rating.
